On Monday, police secured and imprisoned a Berlin man after he guaranteed to kill Vice President Mike Pence if “sufficiently paid.”
Pence was in Shanksville, Pennsylvania when the danger was made — he was there to supervise the commemoration at the Flight 93 function.
Police said William Robert Dunbar, 22, is charged with terroristic threats and disorderly conduct.
He was taken to Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center in Johnstown for an evaluation and then arraigned before being taken Saturday to the Cambria County Prison, where he failed to post 10 percent of $250,000 bail.
According to a criminal complaint, Richland Township police said Dunbar was on duty at the U.S. Army National Guard Training Center in Richland Township when he threatened to kill the vice president on two separate occasions.
“If someone pays me enough money, I will kill the vice president,” police quoted Dunbar as saying in the complaint.
